Bio
Christy Templeton is a 1994 graduate of EKU with a BS in Police Administration and a BS in Corrections and Juvenile Services. Following graduation she began a career in health insurance and worked throughout Ohio, Indiana and KY for several years. She relocated to Central KY and began working with EKU in the OSHA Training Institute Education Center and stepped into the role of On-line Admissions Counselor for the On-line Fire Programs when it began in Fall 2007. She has fulfilled many roles within the program including the most recent addition of Academic Advisor for many of the on-line fire students. She is currently completing her Master’s in Safety, Security and Emergency Management and recently earned her Certificate in School Safety. She is married with two children and enjoys traveling and reading.
