Corporate Security Operations Concentration or Certificate

This curriculum can be completed as either a concentration within the 36-hour master’s degree program or as a 12-hour certificate program which can be completed independently of the degree program.

The Corporate Security Operations Certificate Curriculum Includes the Following Courses:

  • Infrastructure Protection and Risk Analysis
  • Security Intelligence
  • Foundations of Cybersecurity Management
  • Issues in Security Management

Emergency Management and Disaster Resilience Concentration or Certificate

This curriculum can be completed as either a concentration within the 36-hour master’s degree program or as a 12-hour certificate program which can be completed independently of the degree program.

The Emergency Management and Disaster Resilience Certificate Curriculum Includes the Following Courses:

  • Unconventional Threats and Responses
  • Intergovernmental Relations in Disaster Management
  • Achieving Long-Term Disaster Resilience
  • Infrastructure Protection and Risk Analysis

Occupational Safety Concentration or Certificate

This curriculum can be completed as either a concentration within the 36-hour master’s degree program or as a 12-hour certificate program which can be completed independently of the degree program.

The Occupational Safety Certificate Curriculum Includes the Following Courses:

  • Industrial Safety Management
  • Construction Safety
  • Corporate Compliance
  • Personal and Environmental Hazards

Applications must be received by the following deadlines:

  • Completing all certificate coursework in spring semester: Applications must be received by May 20
  • Completing all certificate coursework in summer semester: Applications must be received by August 20
  • Completing all certificate coursework in fall semester: Applications must be received by December 20
