Baggett to Serve as a Member of the 2015 ASIS International Research Council
Dr. Ryan Baggett, Associate Professor in the Department of Safety and Security at Eastern Kentucky University’s College of Justice and Safety has been selected to serve as a member of the 2015 American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) International Research Council.
ASIS International is the leading organization for security professionals with more than 38,000 members worldwide. Founded in 1955, ASIS is dedicated to increasing the effectiveness and productivity of security professionals by developing educational programs and materials that address broad security interests as well as specific security topics.
As a member of the ASIS International Research Council, Baggett will serve on a guiding body for the research that is undertaken by the ASIS Foundation. The Council serves to promote, review and consult on various publications. Each publication provides practical, research-based techniques to help security professionals tackle issues germane to the topic. The Council is also available to consult on research proposals and initiatives for ASIS Councils and leaders, providing experienced insight on best practices to ensure quality outcomes.
